WHAT WE DO
Early Childhood Educator Training
We provide strengths-based early childhood educator training designed to build confidence, capability, and practical skills within early learning environments. Our training supports educators to better understand children’s behaviour, development, and social-emotional needs, using evidence-based, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming approaches.

At Encourage Group, we recognise that early childhood educators play a critical role in shaping a child’s development and wellbeing. Our ECEC training is designed to give educators the tools, language, and confidence to respond effectively to a wide range of behaviours, while creating safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments for all children.

Whether you’re working in long day care, preschool, kindergarten, or other early learning settings, our training focuses on practical, real-world strategies that can be applied immediately. We move beyond theory to ensure educators feel equipped and supported in their day-to-day practice.
Our training helps educators:
-
Understand behaviour through a developmental, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming lens
-
Recognise the function of behaviour and respond with proactive, supportive strategies
-
Respond to challenging behaviours with confidence, consistency, and clarity
-
Embed communication, emotional regulation, and behaviour support strategies into daily routines
-
Foster nurturing, inclusive, and supportive learning environments for diverse learners
-
Build strong, collaborative partnerships with families, caregivers, and allied health professionals
-
Strengthen documentation, observation, and reflective practice to improve outcomes for children
We offer tailored early childhood educator training through workshops, in-service sessions, and hands-on coaching. Each training is customised to suit your service, team, and the specific needs of the children in your care.

Our approach is practical, engaging, and grounded in real-world experience. We focus on building educator confidence, strengthening team capability, and supporting high-quality early childhood practice that leads to meaningful, lasting outcomes for children and families.
